Portage Description:
Think bushwhacking. Bushy, little used. Trail near stream is difficult in areas. Portage is not too bad but the upper part of Dell was trying.

Carry as far into the reedy area as possible. Stream winds and is just wide enough for canoe. There are logs across stream in at least 4 areas. Bottom of slow moving stream is armpit deep in stinky mud - I know!

Lake Description:
Upper part is thru marsh, across logs, deep mud when you get out to move canoe over logs across stream. Be difficult to go upstream, not too bad going down. Dell is small lake, portage into unknown at SW corner.
