Portage Description:
To get to Moxness you must paddle up Tubman creek to a point were you must get out and drag, pull, wallow your canoe to within 90 meters of the lake. Then you follow a moose trail on the east side of the swamp until you see Moxness. Look out for ticks, leeches and swampfoot.

We were out looking for a midday adventure and we certainly found it on Tubman creek. Moxness is definitely out of the way, and quiet.
