Portage Description:
In Aug 2004 there was no portaging needed. Great victory! We had to paddle warp speed in very shallow water sometimes to get over the mud humps, and sometimes we had to drag the canoe over beaver dams, but all in all, paddling down a meandering beaver stream is much better than any portage. Saw many turtles and bass in the brown water. A peaceful paddle.
