Portage Description:
Others comments on the portage are plenty. ...We had 2 guys portage their gear then shoot the rapids (Don't do this!) They lived & so did their canoe. Memory says this chute is about an 8 foot drop over a 20 foot run. They hit hard, bounced off the water and hit hard enough again to flood their canoe. I'm just glad we didn't have to portage their bodies out.
