Portage Description:
In 25 years canoe/camping, I've never been on a lower maintenance portage. The trailhead was virtually unnoticeable, the trail itself disappeared roughly 200 rods into it, and the entire second half of it was a bushwhacking nightmare. The path was only discernable if you saw the somewhat trampled earth between the heavy overgrowth. I have scars to prove it!
