This creek is of extreme difficulty when the water level is low. Last week the central part of the creek took 6 hours when otherwise it might have taken 2. The water is too low to move the canoe through and the banks are most often unsuitable for stringing or non-existent. Avoid this portage except in moderate to high water level.
