Portage Description:
Two stages from Art to Buckingham. First step is rocky and twisting going, though short.

After paddling over the short, shallow and rusty-colored pond, you'll arrive at the portage landing that takes you into Buckingham. The landing is wide and flat and the portage is a gradual incline of about 5 degrees. Beautiful deep woods make it a natural shady cooler between lakes.
