help!!
this computer luddite can't seem to get the hang of using the quote feature??
keeping it as "low-tech" as you can, walk me thru the process?

2 ways solotripper.  You can either click on "quote" in the upper right hand corner of the "quoteable" post.  Or, you can hand type the code without the spaces.

okay PJ, i guess i'm even DUMBER, than a Luddite because when i hit the quote button, i get the WHOLE post??
do i just delete what i don't want in quote??
i THOUGHT you could just Highlight what you wanted and hit quote button but i see that's all wrong!!
i'm just not a computer guy, i find it all extremely frustrating!!

Yup.  Just dont delete any of the code.

No, that doesn't work.  But you CAN highlight, cut and paste doing this.  You would just have to hand type the code.

Yes. Hey, don't feel bad. I always select the text before I hit quote and I know it's not gonna work but I find select, copy, deleting everything between the brackets and pasting is easier than looking for the part you wanted to quote.
