Is there a traceroute utility that comes with most flavors of Windows OSs. If so, what's it called so I can tell someone where to look? And no, I won't recommend he download anything.

db,
You can perform a traceroute in windows by opening a command prompt and typing "tracert <ip address>" ie. "tracert 192.168.1.1"   or "tracert (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)". If this isn't what you were looking for, just let me know...I'd be happy to help out.

Probably the easiest way is:

Start then Run
At the prompt, type in:

cmd

Then you with be at the DOS prompt.
