Some of you likely received the same letter I did regarding the new plan. I gave it a quick read, and thought I would share a few observations.

1) The reach of the LLC guides has been reduced from 20 lakes to 9 lakes. They are: Beaverhouse, Quetico, Cirrus, Jean, Wolseley, Tanner, Poohbah, Minn, and McAree.

2) There will be 2 lakes each year accessed by fly-in. Beaverhouse is one and the other will rotate between Cirrus, Jean, and Poohbah.

3) They are considering installing privies on heavily used campsites.

4) Park staff may use motorized craft for research and enforcement.

5) Use of drones are banned in the Park.

It sounds like Beaverhouse will be used every year. Traditionally, they announce the other lake sometime in the Spring. They will have boat caches on all 9 lakes, for the purpose of daytrip fishing. Follow them to find the waldo holes.
