I feel like I could write an essay on today's POD.

"What's wrong with this picture?" or "What happens next?"

Filling the water jug on Quetico Lake, September 2012.

Yup. But hey, if it works...

Today's POD reminded me of my first trip to the Q.
There wasn't a bird in sight, except a Bald Eagle circling in the sky.

I was cleaning a fish and figured the Eagle would swoop in and get the carcass. I tossed the guts out into the lake and couldn't believe it when a flock of gulls appeared out of nowhere and swarmed the carcass.  Shocked Wink Wink

I'm enjoying the yurt pics.  I've long wondered about their interiors, etc.  Thanks for sharing!

Hmmm...something about today's POD seems very much at odds with distinct images of French Lake residing in MY memories.  Sooner or later, the nature of that discrepancy will come to me....

I don't understand why you would want to have all that weight so above the center of gravity, not to mention in crosswinds it becomes a sail!  Undecided Huh
