Portage Description:
This portage is ever-changing, based on water levels and the success of the local beavers. At high water, the portage can often be bypassed completely, or shortened. The various landings are sometimes mucky -- otherwise the portage is easy. We've seen fresh wolf tracks here!

Lake after portage: Kawishiwi River
Known campsites: 4
Lake Description:

This section of the Kawishiwi River is great for wildlife-watching and solitude! Fishing is good, too.
