Thanks for the information, but sometimes it is hard to believe that there is so much beautiful area up in the BWCA and Quetico. After having one successful trip, I just want the next one to be as succesful. You mentioned that we must make the entry point and stay 24 hours. Does this mean we have to make the entry point on the designated date of the permit or just sometime during the trip?

Also, what good smallmouth or pike lakes are there in the Kashipiwi area? I know that Kashipiwi is known for its lakers. Is Yum-Yum a good bass lake?
