Jack, thanks for the advice. I already have an order in for Robert Beymer's - A paddler's guide to Quetico PP, I am glad to hear it comes highly recommened. What map should I buy first to plan my trip? I know I will need more detailed maps latter but what should I start with. Also, the only equipment I will need for my trip is a canoe, do you have any recommandations on the best place to get a canoe. If I get a canoe from an outfitter should I have them also apply for my entry point, or should I do this on my own? Do you have any trip recommandations, things that you enjoyed the most.
