THe Rawn and Pickerel narrows are good places for walleye.
Pickerel Lake can get big waves. If your leaving from French Lake you might want to look at having an outfitter drive you to Staton Bay. This will cut off 10 Miles of paddling in what could be dangerous water for inexperenced paddlers. This also makes it easy to get to Russell or Fred in two days.

I going to Fred/Camel/McDougall/Russell in July. Never been to Fred or Camel, any insight?
