i'm taking my dad and 5 yr old son with me to the boundary waters this august. we're entering at poplar/lizz lake and will be in the horshoe/vista/gaksin area for 5 days. we may base camp the whole time but more likely will spend a couple days on horshoe or vista and a couple on gaskin. i'd appreciate any information about the area/campsites/fishing holes that anyone has. this will be a lot different trip than i usually take up there, but i am really looking forward to it.

one of the big differences is that i'm planning on taking live bait and doing a lot of slip bobber fishing with my son. can anyone give me the lowdown on transporting leeches, how many we need, etc. thanks.
