We launched from French and paddled for about 4-5 hours. I figured that Rawn Lake would be an excellent place to spend a few hours of fishing on our way to Cirrus Lake. I could not have been more wrong. The black flies were unreal! The second we got out of the wind we were attacked! Once we got back onto big water the flies disappeared. We spent the week on Cirrus and did not encounter any flies. Oh Yeah, and the fishing was great on Cirrus!
