My husband and I will be up in Quetico the first 2 weeks of September (he has been before, I haven't). My girlfriends think I'm crazy, my husband think's I'm cool. We're both outdoorsy (obviously - our honeymoon last year included a 4-day trek through the rainforest in New Zealand), but 2 weeks with NO communication has me a little bit freaked out. So, my questions de jour:
- how cold should we expect the water be? will we be swimming or quick-dipping?
- how rainy is it usually in Sept.?
- what's the bug situation in early Sept.?
- any bathroom tips for women?
