Portage Description:
This portage is difficult only in length. The trail is solid and there's very little mud. We did the portage after a rain storm and in turned into a beautiful little stream. Plan on wet feet. Lots of nice places to rest. Our maps said 368 rods and then put into the stream for a paddle and then portage 9 rods more. The stream in the middle never materialized and it became a very long portage indeed. We portaged north to south and it seemed to go down hill most of the way. It would be quite a hike from the south. It keeps the tenderfoots out of the beautiful lakes to the north of Sawbill though.

Lake after portage: Dujenida
Known campsites: None at all
Lake Description:

Dujenida is a shallow lake that leads to Kelso. The northern part was mainly river that flows through floating bog.
