Portage Description:
Big problem is the sucking bog about half way across. Last time I was there you had no choice but to cross the 100 yard bog. The bog is the muck type with no solid ground. Wade through the muck with your packs. Takes awhile to get across.

Lake Description:
Dell is a small lake on the route from McNiece to Shade Lake. I think most cross it and head into Shade to camp.
