Portage Description:
No one should try to go directly from Grey to Dell via the swamp at the southwestern end of Grey. Instead, go to the southern bay and go into the unnamed lake to the south, then southwest into Dell. The portage from Grey to Dell is seldom used and when you get to the creek/bog (if the water is high enough) you will travel southwest. When we went, the creek turned to stinking suckmud, and we ended up turning east, over a Beaver dam, into the northern tip of Dell. Grey had great Largemouth fishing in the shallow, reefy, rocky southwestern end of the lake. (yes...Largemouth!).
