Portage Description:
This portage is a nice one going down to Moose River. Some gentle hills, and the path is well worn. I have traveled this portage at least a dozen trips, and it's one of my favorites. Coming back is another story, the first 40 rods or so is fairly steep, and rocky. The grade is mostly uphill going back to parking lot.
