Portage Description:
A sweet little downhill along a roaring rapid (water was high) to a picturesque put in pool. A narrow and wild feeling at the entrance to an arm of the river that held an allure for us. Not a lot of room on the put in rock if one encountered another party.

Lake Description:
It's the Kawishiwi, a portion of which I'm surprised does not own a lake name. Once away from the put in, it's less riverine than lake like.
