Portage Description:
Just a quick portage around some rapids. Some old log pilings on both sides to look at. In higher water levels these rapids are easily runable.

Lake Description:
Kawishiwi River is a long narrow lake, no current to speak of. The west end just before the next portage is a little confusing, you come across two bays, one of which contains the portage and the campsite, the other is a dead end. Portage to/from Ojibwa and Triangle Lake is on this stretch of water.
