Portage Description:
Going into Steep is a tough "grunt" uphill. Plan on a break if you need it. After the main elevation rise, there's a short level walk with a second small rise then a short descent to Steep. Plan on having your camera ready at the Steep put-in. The landing is one of the most picturesque I've seen.
