Portage Description:
We heard so many complaints about this portage that my 110-pound wife had to psych herself up for the journey. It's really not as bad as people make it sound. The path was actually rather nice (although long and hilly) with decent footing all the way - and this was during a late September sleet storm. We double portaged in about an hour and my wife would do it again.

Lake after portage: Pine
Known campsites: 8+
Lake Description:

Beautiful lake about 7 miles long surrounded by high hills. The path to Johnson Falls is just off to the left when you hit the water. Don't forget to see both sets of falls - they're both beautiful!
