Portage Description:
I heard this portage was brutal, so was gearing up for a beast. I was pretty steep at the beginning, but after the one large hill seemed to level out or go down for most of the remainder of the portage. Lots of twists and turns, but not nearly as bad as I had imagined.

Pine is a beautiful lake! Make sure you see Johnson Falls- take the trail to the west of the Canoe-Pine portage and get ready for a set of spectacular falls!
