Portage Description:
If this portage wasn't so long I would rate it easy.... no real obstacles or difficult spots..... just a long walk with a canoe on your head..... landings on both sides were nice & easy.

Lake Description:
Gun Lake has one of my favorite campsites on it IMHO it is a 5 Star site..... it is the one located closest to the barrel part of the lake, the one closest to the portage from Wagosh.... it doesn't look like much from the water but get out & have a look, fire grate is right out on the rock point, nice tent pad, good food pack tree & outstanding sunsets... I will stay there again someday
