Portage Description:
Difficult only in length, this portage is well maintained at is well traveled. Sometimes tricky at the Knife end, as it is a steep decent. Beautiful waterfall at halfway point. If you are traveling south-north, don't be fooled by the glint of the sun off of the water, you're not quite there yet.

Lake after portage: Knife
Known campsites: 4
Lake Description:

Beautiful lake with cliff walls descending into the water on the north shore. Windy at times, especially when winds are out of the west. Decent campsites at northwest end. Decent fishing off of island near western campsites.
