Portage Description:
After the portages starting at Seagull, through Grandpa, to where you are now this portage is as easy as the walk to the refrigerated beverage cooler at the first connivance store you stop at after tying down the canoe. It is located at the northeastern most corner of Roy. It can be a little tricky to find, it is not quite where the maps show it. It is at the southern end of a small earth dam that crosses the valley that links Roy and Saganaga. The trial is all downhill. It has one sharp turn that is a little tricky with the canoe. The last 10-20 yards are in a marsh that leads into Saganaga. During high water periods this portage could be a little hazardous if not unusable.
