Portage Description:
Silver falls portage- gateway to the falls chain/ man chain/ Saganagons. landings on both sides are very well worn. Might prove tricking in extreme water levels- high water provides risky current out of cache bay - low levels might make for difficult landing. Portage rises quickly is scattered with roots and rock WATCH YOUR STEP. For many this is the first portage of the trip and a twisted ankle is no way to begin a voyage. Aside from the tricky footing which is compounded in wet conditions this is a straight forward portage.
