Portage Description:
As you leave Clear Lake it is a slight up and down walk, one can see that in wet conditions it would have some muddy spots. A new beaver dam at the river end has made the last 10 rods very wet, and the put in is mucky and shallow.

Lake Description:
We saw 4 campsites, 2 looked great. If you stay to the river channel that travels East you can paddle thru the first small portage if you keep West of the island - this would probably not be possible in high water due to paddling into the current.
