Portage Description:
Snake Falls portage on the Namakan River. The portage is easy to spot, but is well before the falls. There are a lot of motor boats at the end of the portage, since this is the entry point onto the Namakan River for the Indian Village on Lac La Croix.

Lake after portage: Beaverhouse
Known campsites: not sure
Lake Description:

The Namakan River up to Wawa Island is an easy paddle. There is one other portage after Snake Falls at Ivy Falls. We were able to paddle through Squaw Falls since the water was so low.
