Portage Description:
This portage is the most well-groomed and maintained portage I have ever seen. It has a gentle uphill climb at the beginning with an even more gradual downhill to the end. The entry is a gravel 'beach' with plenty of room for multiple parties. The exit into swamp lake is a boardwalk which extends like a dock into the lake. Canoes must be loaded directly into the water next to the dock.

Lake Description:
Swamp Lake is aptly named. The southwestern side is filled with reeds. It didn't appear to have any campsites.
