Portage Description:
1st portage is 55 rods and is easy. Next 2 are very easy and short. 33 rod portage is marked wrong on Fisher Maps. Portage is on the east (not west) side of the river. Though short this 33 rod portage can be difficult. Next 48 rod portage is a 100%er. Good scenery and plenty of wildlife. Great fishing in the pools below rapids.
