Portage Description:
Do not take the portage that is directly around Chatterton Falls... There are about 5 different ways you could take and some of the ways just end and you must climb a cliff to continue on you way. This is not a portage even though on the Fischer Maps it is marked... It is long and frustrating... take the 76 rod portage!

Very nice lake... the campsite next to Split Rock Falls is a very nice campground with views of the Split Rock Fall Portage... which at times is very humorous to watch
