Portage Description:
It was difficult for a variety of reasons; 1) It's a mile, 2) At the time I went there were numerous downed trees, 3) It was just me and my then 7 year old, and 4) A group of very friendly, single portaging college guys just blew by us, effecting a severe humiliation on my middle-aged masculinity. But it was very flat, dry, not rocky and had many blooming lady slipper's along it's length. Other than the previously mentioned factors, about as easy as a 320 can be.

Lake Description:
Push through to at least Rush, Fox is just a pothole while Rush was a pretty little lake with a decent island campsite and held a variety of game fish.
