Portage Description:
First two short portages out of Sarah run along pretty little rapids flowing from Tuck River into Sarah (bass below the rapids). Unnamed lake between Tuck and Irene is ringed by a floating bog--tricky landing on south side--floating logs for footing are treacherous. 50-rodder into Irene pretty nasty--very wet and dense brush. Lots of cursing. Moose & wolf tracks.
