Some of us here are not big on commercial intrusions, but I have found some useful information at the Gorp site in the past. Your post prompted me to visit it again, and I was generally pleased with the improvements I found.

As a jumping-off site for outdoor adventures around the world, I think Gorp is doing a pretty decent job. Keep it up. Considering all of the outdoor places people might want to learn about, Gorp certainly has it's job cut out for it.
