I know that I haven't been here on the board for a few months. But I have been really busy. I did managed to get to Quetico this year at the end of Aug. I took a new freind with me this year. He was great company and alot of fun.
In the past my paddle partner and I tend to travel many miles in a day. We have always done this just to see as much as we can of the park. Well this year was a new experiance for me and I really enjoyed it. We spent two night at each campsite with the exception of the last night. This gave me the chance to sit back and take a really good look at the areas we were in. Even wrote some great stuff while I was there. Checked out a few old portages that aren't used much any more.
Well our trip was short but sweet. We went in thru Prairie Portage up to Sarah Lake and back. Other than it being windy this year we had a great trip.
