Portage Description:
A relatively easy portage, just marked on the wrong side of the stream on both McKenzie and Fisher maps. The portage begins over a bare rock face on the west side of the stream. If you look up a bit above the water line, you'll be able to see conveniently positioned logs on the top of the rock slabs (making convenient seating for a lunch break).

Lake after portage: Conk
Known campsites: 2
Lake Description:

A relatively nondescript lake. If headed south, make sure you note that the portage out of Conk is in a small round bay before you reach a point which jutting out into the lake (where encroaching aquatic growth is obvious). You'll likely have to pick down the shore line just a bit because the portage entrance is rather obscure.
