Portage Description:
There is a take-out on "river right" before you go under the bridge crossing the Namakan River and above Snake Falls that leads to an ATV trail running along the river and under the bridge. Below the bridge you'll see another takeout on "river right" just below a swift spot on the river you can also use if the current doesn't scare you. The put-in below Snake Falls is among some large rocks and debris floating around below the falls, but the trail is easy with only an easy rise to climb.
