Portage Description:
This is a very challenging portage. Admittedly we did it in very wet conditions, but there was tons of water, muck, and inadequate corduroy. There are some steep hills and a few spots where you have no choice but to wade through the swamp and hope you don't sink too deep.

Maria is a beautiful lake with tall timber, nice islands, and beautiful campsites.
