Portage Description:
This is broken down into 3 portages. The first is an easy 30 rods. The second is somewhat strenuous 140 rods on a well traveled trail that is either rocky or muddy. The third is a quick 10 rods but is required. This area is heavily traveled so you may expect some delays on the portages.
Lake after portage: Fourtown
Known campsites: 8+
Lake Description:
Fourtown is quite large (1900 acres) and is generally quite a busy place. For those seeking solitude, it is probably not the place to go. From here you can go in different directions to many different lakes. There is a lot of logging history in the area.
