Portage Description:
There are actually 3 portages to get from Mudro to Fourtown. The first one is 30 rods and the last one is 10 rods - both pretty easy and are right along the water. The middle portage is an up and down 140 rods on a nice trail that overlooks the river. I saw about a dozen people on this portage going in and coming out last year.

Lake Description:
Pretty big lake with nice campsites. Fishing is okay. (have been there three times) Running water usually produces.
