Portage Description:
Although short this portage goes down hill the entire length as it passes by some beautiful falls. Be sure to relax and cool off at the falls after the portage. The easiest way is to paddle over to where the falls enter knife, but a better way is to walk over and cool off after the portage. Stay at the falls and relax in the cool water for a few minutes. The portage seems less strenuous if you do. Be careful and watch your step coming down to Knife. I think this portage is better done this way than Knife to Eddy
