Portage Description:
Only difficult because of length.... portage out of boulder is really easy to see with a nice landing, stay on this portage trail until the creek..... cross the creek & go up the really steep bank on the other side..... follow until it comes to a "T" go to the left..... NOTE at the "T" there are remnants of some old canoe rests on some of the trees.... follow this to Cap Lake.... there are a lot of nice resting areas along the way.... this area is in the blowdown so it is getting really thick to the sides of the trail.
Lake after portage: Cap
Known campsites: 1
Lake Description:
Small & clear we stopped on the campsite for lunch... just an average site with no food pack tree... nice place to rest after the long portage, but I would stay elseware.
