Portage Description: The portage itself is pretty easy. The rocky footing on the Caribou Lake side makes it a bit tricky reloading the canoe, so be careful. Lake after portage: Caribou Known campsites: 6 Lake Description: The lake is somewhat shallow in the first arm after portaging, but gets deeper in the main lake. There are a couple of awesome campsites on this lake, especially at the western end, including one with a cool sloping rock face that comes out of the water.
