Portage Description:
I heard this portage was straight, flat and well traveled. It was flat. It was also riddled with fallen trees, a beaver pond and lots of mud ankle to knee high. The silver lining is the sandy landing at the Buck end.
Lake after portage: Buck
Known campsites: not sure
Lake Description:
Buck is a nice, quiet lake reputed to have Walleye. I stayed on the first campsite, on the north side of the lake. I believe the second site which is on the south side is nicer.
