Portage Description:
There are actually 4 little portages from Clay Lake down the Greenwood Creek into the Wawiag River, ultimately into Kawa Bay on Kawnipi. One of these is marked on Fisher and Mackenzie maps and is about 20-30 rods around a set of rapids. Two others are short (10-16 rods) around enormous log jams.
